〔記者方正東／桃園報導〕中華隊3日在桃園與Lamigo桃猿打第3場熱身賽，王躍霖6局上場中繼，飆出150公里速球，得到總教練謝長亨的肯定，預定8日對中職聯軍的熱身賽，再讓王躍霖上場先發；此戰中華隊靠著林智勝9局上的滿貫砲逆轉戰局，終場中華隊以9比8擊敗桃猿。
